I booked a party of 15 with Devin Andersen at Coohills. It was an absolute pleasure working with Devin. She was quick to respond and made excellent recommendations. The night of our event I had to push our reservation 1 hour later due to some of our group being delayed at the airport. No one from Coohills told me this, but we found out on our way that we were keeping these people late(from Google). You would have never known. The staff was gracious and efficient. The food was excellent and the ambience was perfect for an enjoyable dinner among friends.

Incredible!! We hosted our wedding reception for about 110 guests here. The planning with Coohills was the easiest part of the wedding planning process. Hi Shayla,

Our experience at Coohills was nothing short of excellent! All the staff delivered outstanding service. I don’t remember his name, however, our waiter was quick to accommodate us in any way…he saw a few people standing and offered to bring chairs, and was very attentive making sure our drinks were filled. The bartender was also very friendly and knew his stuff.

Devin, who helped organize the event from beginning to finish was amazing. She was one of the reasons why I decided on Coohills – I called around and spoke w/ several people, but she gave me a welcoming vibe. She was genuinely positive, open to suggestions, and delivered as promised. I’ll definitely keep you guys on the list for future events.

We are so very pleased with the baby shower.  The service provided by the Coohill's staff was outstanding and the food was absolutely delicious (the sliders and blue crabcake were a huge hit).  Our guests were highly complimentary of the staff, service and food.  I travel and eat out often and Coohills provided superior service that I would place at the top of my list.  Also, please pass on our thanks to the pastry chef.  The cake was perfection and received many compliments.

Travelling to Denver for a conference I was told that I absolutely had to check out Coohills; so glad I did. Great ambiance and menu. Husband had steak and I enjoyed the crab cake and cheese plate. We also shared the duck confit - some of the best we have ever had! Husband was impressed and he is a food/service snob (having managed high end restaurants in his former work life). Bartender Skylar and server Mary were fabulous - anticipating our every need and bridging the gap that not all servers can do well - professional yet as friendly as someone who had known you forever. The only down side is that I don't live in Denver, so don't know when I will make it back. If given the opportunity, you MUST visit this restaurant. Fantastic!!!!

Wendy and david here... the couple who had the 7 course tasting menu last night. Wow!!! What a wonderful expereience. We truly loved every biot of it. "We had dinner twice in the last month. Once for a friend's 50th birthday party for 26 people and once for our anniversary dinner for 2. For The birthday party, we were in the Wine Room which was very private and our guests were able to walk around and mingle without disturbing other guests in the restaurant. The owner, Diane made menu recommendations and helped with all with arrangements ahead of time. Dinner and the service was as promised. All our guests were served quickly and on time. Both visits, dinner was incredible! You have to try their salmon and their signature Baumaniere Potatoes. The birthday cake was out of this world. The staff was very accommodating and they gave us VIP treatment. Ryan, our waiter for both visits goes over and beyond. I highly recommend Coohills. They truly make sure your special occasion feel special."

 I wanted to write this email to let you know that everything was absolutely perfect for our wedding on the 30th! Devin, you did an amazing job capturing my vision of the set up of everything. It was exactly how I envisioned things and there were so many compliments on everything. 

The Food was also superb... again, many compliments on the hors doeuvres and all the plated meals. The salad, the bread, and all the entries looked and tasted delicious.

The wait staff was awesome! Everyone was so accommodating, friendly, and attentive.

The cake was perfect.. again exactly how I pictured in my head.

I just can't say enough thanks to the three of you for helping organize everything these past few months. It has been a pleasure working with each of you, and I will be sure to send anyone I know your way!

I must give this restaurant the highest of marks. Came in with my friend and we both had strict dietary needs. The wait staff and chef were brilliant at obliging our needs. Our waitress check on every detail of our meal. The food was amazing.  Mussels melted in my mouth. The chef even sent us complimentary desserts with our diets in mind. Beautiful atmosphere.

Love the location. The set up is so pretty. I can't wait to go back and hopefully take advantage of their outside seating. I missed the bartenders name from last night, but he was a huge help with picking drinks and recommendations on dishes. The steak was incredibly tender almost melt in your mouth. Delicious! As usual, it was a great experience to dine at Coohills. We brought a young couple with us. Impeccable service, pretty view of the river, elegant decor. Our rehearsal dinner on Friday was beautiful and absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal, as always, the staff was perfectly attentive and very professional – my father in law gave an impromptu speech and when they saw it happening they quietly stepped in the room to turn the volume of the music down – and the room was great! I especially thank you for accommodating the special meal request for a pepperoni pizza from my young niece! I can't tell you how many of our guests have come up to me with kind words about the ceremony, the venue, the courteous service, and (of course) the utterly delicious food. Please let your pastry chef know that several guests told me the wedding cake was among the best they have ever tasted - I have heard that piece of flattery from other non-guests who were simply helping us dispose of the wedding cake leftovers! 

We certainly appreciate all of the background coordination and the phenomenal attention to detail. None of our guests with food sensitivities reported any problems and one guest (with a cinnamon allergy) was beyond thrilled to realize she could enjoy all of the desserts! It was an absolute pleasure working with you, and we won't hesitate to recommend Coohills to others. Rest assured - we enjoyed the experience so much that we plan to use you for all of our future weddings! (joking aside - you will certainly see us for our anniversary!)

Good Morning,

I just wanted to write you to thank you  for such an amazing birthday night for my wife! That party turned out a hundred times what I thought it would be, it's beyond words to describe! The amount of effort your restaurant went through to make this a great night was so special and memorable. The restaurant's atmosphere and ambiance was so incredible! The staff was so amazing, attentive, and accommodating; from the waiters to the cooks to the people managing the event. I was so impressed by how thoughtful and "on it" the waiters and waitresses were. They keep the guests so happy and satisfied! They were constantly coming around and checking up on everyone and working so hard. The girl managing the night introduced herself and would come to check with me to make sure everything was going good. If all that wasn't enough to make this a great night...the food the chefs prepared was beyond words, I couldn't believe how delicious and gorgeous everything was! Some of the best food I've ever had and I've eaten at a low of fancy restaurants! Everyone I talked to said the food was amazing and couldn't stop talking about it! Then to top off a perfect evening and when I thought it couldn't get any better...the cake that was brought out was more than I could have even imagined! It was so memorable and absolutely perfect. It blew my wife away on how beautiful it was! I was absolutely stunned by the presentation of it; the prettiest birthday cake I've ever seen! We couldn't stop talking about it  and taking pictures of it....was hard to give it up to be cut in too! Not only did it looks amazing but it was the best tasting cake I've ever had! It was a perfect end to a perfect night...I had to step away and thank the person who made it! The whole night definitely exceeded my expectations in every way! I can't begin to tell you what an amazing staff you have! Diane thank you for all you put into this, every last detail was amazing! By far one of the best venues I've ever been too! Thank you for one of the best and memorable nights of our lives!

For many of our partners, the DIS dinner is a highlight of the NAFSA week for them - they have the opportunity to take time to sit down with friends and colleagues and enjoy a dinner together, rather than running from reception to reception. A handful (that I know of) have even been back for another dinner because they wanted to eat your food again!

Diane and Tom....Our David Hobbs dinner party Friday night was great!

Your entire staff, from the early days of planning the event, to final clear-up of the (very empty) dessert dishes was excellent. Kudos to Tom's kitchen team for coping so well with our a la carte demand. The entrees arrived with impeccable timing. No "just more banquet food" here!!

Everyone loved their dinners (the veggie folk thought the gnocchi was the best ever!), the pace was right on. And the passed apps, especially the crab cakes, received rave reviews.

I rolled into Coohills with a party of six business associates - 3 of mine and 3 potential customers. It was important to me to make a positive impression, and Tom stopped by the table, found out about some of our food interests and was a wonderful host. Sorry that I didn't send you this note sooner! After the wedding, we headed off to Vancouver for our honeymoon and have been go, go, go ever since. We wanted to tell you thank you for a wonderful evening. Actually, let me rephrase that. We wanted to thank you for the best night of our lives so far! It was perfect. We received endless compliments on everything: how beautiful the venue was, how incredible the food was and how wonderful your staff was. Alexis was phenomenal. Our table absolutely loved her - she took such great care of us! All of your staff was so sweet to the kids and made sure the parents were happy and had what they needed. Plus, one of your staff members said my sister's toast was the best bridesmaid toast ever, so that got extra points in our family's book!

The cake was so cute and even better than I expected. Plus, the macaroons were a huge hit - they were delicious, adorable and coordinated so well with our wedding colors and theme. I am only sad that we didn't get to enjoy the appetizers and desserts because everyone said they were so good! Apparently, the risotto balls and the bread pudding were everyone's favorite items. Everything was so well organized, detailed and looked gorgeous from start to finish.

Everyone always says that the bride and groom don't actually get to enjoy the wedding, but that couldn't be further from the truth for us. We had such a fun time and when I look at pictures, I can't imagine it being any more perfect or in any better of a place. We are so thankful that we found Coohills and are lucky that we were able to host our friends and family there for our big day. It was an amazing start to our marriage and new life together and we will always remember what an incredible night we had.

Thank you for all of your help along the way and making sure everything went so smoothly. We will be back soon to celebrate again...maybe for our one month anniversary, one year or just any old night we feel like enjoying the lovely space and remembering our night.

Friday night was truly amazing for us!  The service by Beth was phenomenal, the food was amazing, the drinks and the environment were perfect and fun....we wouldn't have changed a thing.  When I came to Coohill's I had already had 2 failed planning attempts and was near panic mode with 1 week to the event. It was such a relief when I walked into Coohill's to finally find the perfect place. Diane's friendly personality along with her efficient and creative planning put me right at ease...I knew our event was in good hands!  The best part was that I was able to relax and enjoy the event because every detail was well coordinated and taken care of.

We have often commented that we can tell how a dinner is going to go by the interaction we have with the restaurant beforehand, and it was true once again.  You were so great and on top of things - plus super fun!

What a great time we had at Coohills this past weekend!
Molly was great to work with through the entire process, planning to execution. She offered great suggestions in our planning and was constantly checking during the events to make sure all was going as we expected. The crossover from sales to operations was very effective from our perspective.
Our wine pairing dinner was an exceptional experience to celebrate our anniversary with our family. The menu created and presented received great reviews from our guests. Dre was excellent as our wait person, she presented all the courses with great explanations and her knowledge of the wines was very impressive as well as her warmth and friendliness during service. The team effort on the delivery of each course worked very well.
For our party on Sunday we were very happy with the event throughout the evening but more importantly was the feedback we received from our guests during the event and after. Lots of comments on how friendly, caring and, professional “all” the staff were. Great raves on the food and presentation. Our favorite comment that we heard multiple times was, “what a first class celebration”.
We understand that it takes great effort by a lot of staff to accomplish this and not all staff are out front. Please make sure you express our gratitude to everyone involved.
